The Franka Sofa Bed combines contemporary style, everyday comfort, and practical functionality in one beautifully designed piece. This spacious 3-seat sized fabric sofa transforms into a comfortable double bed within seconds using a smooth one-step fold-out mechanism—no removing cushions, no complicated frames, and no hassle.

The Franka Sofa Bed measures 205 cm wide, 101.5 cm deep, and 90 cm high as a sofa. When converted into a bed, it extends to 207 cm deep and features a 140 cm × 190 cm mattress with a 10 cm mattress thickness, providing a comfortable sleeping surface for overnight guests.

Perfect for apartments, guest rooms, home offices, and multifunctional living spaces, the Franka is designed to serve as a genuine everyday sofa while providing a comfortable sleeping solution for overnight guests. Unlike traditional futon-style sofa beds, the Franka features a 10cm mattress combining a memory foam comfort layer over a supportive foam base, concealed within a heavy-duty frame, delivering superior support and comfort compared to sleeping on seat cushions alone.

Built to last, the Franka's reinforced fold-out mechanism is rated to a 300kg weight capacity—double the 150kg rating of standard sofa bed mechanisms, giving you exceptional durability and peace of mind for everyday use. And when folded out, the sleeping surface sits 52cm off the floor, close to standard bed height, making it far easier to get in and out of than fold-out foam beds that leave guests sleeping at floor level. The Franka is upholstered in our most popular fabric cover—chosen by more customers than any other in our range. Woven from 100% polyester, it's both soft to the touch and exceptionally hard-wearing, with a Martindale rub test exceeding 40,000 cycles that rates it as commercial grade. That means it's built to withstand daily family use, comfortably exceeding the durability of standard residential upholstery while keeping the clean, tailored look that suits a wide range of interiors.
