The Hīnaki Pendant Light draws inspiration from traditional Māori fish traps, known as hīnaki, which were intricately woven from vines into beautiful, functional forms. This design was first explored by David in 1995 as a prototype, blending cultural heritage with modern lighting concepts.
Available in three sizes, the Hīnaki Pendant Light showcases a refined plywood finish that can be left natural or painted on one side, offering a versatile selection of 11 distinctive options, including a striking black finish. This elegant piece marries traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design, bringing a timeless touch to any space.

All wooden lights are intended for use in dry interior conditions only, and can be cleaned with a soft cloth dampened in warm water when light is switched off.
The light must be installed by a qualified Electrician in accordance with national wiring regulations - DO NOT attempt to install it yourself. Intended for dry interior spaces.
